Privacy policy

Blocko: Grid Puzzle · Last updated: 4 November 2026

This policy explains what data the Android app Blocko: Grid Puzzle (“the app”) processes, why, for how long, and what rights you have.

1. Data controller

Luis Vizuete, an individual resident in Spain.
Contact: admin_blocko@vizuete.org

2. What data we process

2.1. Google Play Games account

The app uses Google Play Games to sign in. When you sign in, we receive from Google your player ID, your player name (the gamer name of your Play Games profile) and the address of your profile picture. We do not receive your email address, your real name or your password.

2.2. Daily Challenge

For the Daily Challenge we store on our server, linked to your player ID:

Moves are stored so that an interrupted game can be resumed and to check that leaderboard scores are legitimate.

2.3. Leaderboards

On the Daily Challenge leaderboard, other players can see your player name, profile picture and score. Classic, Blitz and Puzzle scores are sent to Google Play Games leaderboards, where their visibility depends on your Play Games profile settings.

2.4. Cloud-saved progress

Your progress (coins, power-ups, unlocked themes, records and settings) is saved to your Google account using the Google Play Games saved games service. That copy is managed by Google; we do not keep a copy on our server.

2.5. Server technical data

Each time the app connects to our server, the IP address, date and time, requested operation, result and app version are logged. We use them to keep the service secure, prevent abuse and fix errors.

2.6. Advertising (Google AdMob)

The app shows ads through Google AdMob. The AdMob SDK, operated by Google, collects and shares with Google data such as the Android advertising ID and other device identifiers, the IP address (which may be used to estimate an approximate location), device information, your interactions with ads and diagnostic data, for advertising, analytics and fraud prevention. We do not receive this data.

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, the app asks for your consent through Google’s consent form before showing personalised ads, and you can change your choice at any time from the app settings. You can also reset or delete your advertising ID in the Android settings.

More about how Google uses data: policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

2.7. Data that stays on your device

App preferences and Daily Challenge reminders (local notifications) are stored only on your device.

3. Purposes and legal bases

4. Who we share data with

We do not sell your data.

5. International transfers

Our server is located in the European Union. Google may process data outside the European Economic Area; in that case it applies the safeguards provided for in the GDPR, such as the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses.

8. Children

The app is not directed at children under 13. In Spain, children under 14 need the consent of a parent or guardian for processing based on consent, such as personalised advertising. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has provided us with data, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Security

All communication between the app and our server is encrypted (HTTPS/TLS). Access to the server and the database is restricted.
